My take: Captain had lost support of majority of MLAs; ground feedback was of growing anti incumbency. But you don’t remove a veteran CM 4 months before an election without a clear plan for succession. Punjab 2022 is an open field now: Self goal or masterstroke, jury is out. 🙏

In last 10 years, not just Day & Night News but at least one dozen punjabi, multi-lingual channels were prevented from operating freely from Punjab due to control on cable. Sadly despite claims even @capt_amarinder govt. failed to break monopoly.#freemedia
This year while the Union Government made amendments in Cable Television Networks Rules to “regulate” content and advertising of tv channels/ broadcasters, it left the MSOs who control local cable operators untouched. Hence the problem @ravishndtv.#freemedia
